Smithsonian Museum Installs Roy Lichtenstein Sculpture
WASHINGTON - AUGUST 27: A sculpture titled 'Modern Head' by American artist Roy Lichtenstein is installed at the Smithsonian American Art Museum August 27, 2008 in Washington, DC. The 31-foot-tall stainless steel piece was on display one block from the World Trade Center on September 11, 2001, and survived the attack with superficial damage, and was temporarily used as a message board by the FBI during its investigation. It is on loan to the Smithsonian indefinitely.
